Is this only for girlfriends and boyfriends?
No — Surpriseflix works for anyone you want to surprise: partners, parents, siblings, or a best friend. Some of the most emotional Surprises we've seen were birthday gifts for a mom or dad, not romantic ones.
How private is my Surprise, really?
Each Surprise gets its own secret URL that only you share — it's never listed publicly, never shown in search results, and you can add an optional password on top for an extra layer.
What happens after the 30 days?
Viewing pauses the moment your 30 days end. You then get another 30 days to renew before anything is deleted — we'll email a heads-up a week before that deadline. Renew any time in that window and the Surprise picks back up exactly where you left it, memories intact. If it's never renewed, the photos and videos are permanently deleted to free up storage.
What if I forget to renew?
We'll email you a reminder before anything is deleted. And since we ask for the recipient's email the first time you share the link, they can keep the Surprise going themselves too — no account needed on their end — if you don't get to it in time.
What can I actually upload?
Photos and videos, organized into your own titled sections. The One Surprise plan supports up to 20 videos and 3GB total; Bigger Surprise raises that to 40 videos and 6GB.
Is this a subscription?
No. You pay once per Surprise for 30 days of access — there's no recurring billing, and nothing renews automatically without you choosing to.
Does the person I'm surprising need to install anything?
No app, no account required on their end. They just open the link you send them in any browser — and if it ever needs renewing, they can pay for that too without creating an account.
